I purchased this phone in the hope that it would be a good product with Uniden having a good reputation in the radio market.
Although it performs OK and has decent reception, after using it a while, it became apparent that it is a poor product.
The silver colored finish began to wear off of the phone after a couple of weeks usage.
The phone also falls out of the cradle quite easily when wall mounted. This is in spite of flipping around the little plastic retainer clip to prevent it.
While in the cradle, it frequently does not make proper contact with the charging points. If you don’t pay attention when you put the phone back on the base, you will have a dead phone in short order.
The buttons on the handset do not always register when you press them. If I have the phone outside in cold weather, the buttons don’t work at all.
All in all, I would never buy another telephone product from Uniden again.
