Well I was looking for a phone about the time the 2.4Ghz technology was coming around. I finally purchased the Toshiba 2.4Ghz phone. I brought it home and let it charge overnight. The next morning I was ready to give it a try. Boy was I mad. This phone couldn’t outperform my last phone a Sony (DSS). I had paid about $160.00 for this phone plus warranty. I didn’t notice that much of a difference in the range or reception.I mean if I’m going to pay big bucks for an item it better be worth it. I returned it the same day and got me a Uniden exs 9960 for $99.00 and still outperformed the Toshiba. I guess I was expecting a big difference after all 900Mhz to 2.4Gigs is a lot of difference(supposedly).Maybe it was a defective unit!
