I read the other reviews on epinions and was very excited to purchase the toshiba. I really wanted a good cordless phone that would last. Also, I was looking for a phone with a long battery life. I thought with the dual battery it would be perfect.
The problem was the reception! I just got done letting the phone charge yesterday and overnight. This morning when I picked up the phone, I immediately was disappointed. Before I even dialed there was background noise. Also, it even cut out on me briefly when I was upstairs and the base was downstairs.
The other thing I don’t like about this phone is the wobbly base. It has the extra battery on the underneath side of the base and it easily tips both at the top and bottom.
Finally, when you hang up the phone face up (so that you can see the caller id when someone calls in) it does not seem like the phone is hung up properly. I am returning this phone to circuit city today.
