I love this phone, it is small and unobtrusive, easy to set up, and has a ton of great features. I love it until I have to talk into it. Then it pops and crackles and pings and tings in my ear. Callers on the other end of the phone constantly tell me that our connection is terrible, or they ask me if I am driving because my signal is fading in and out.

The problem, I recently discovered through trial and error, is that this phone runs on 2.4 GHz, the same as our baby monitor and wireless video monitor (and our microwave.) I figured it out when I checked the manual on our baby monitor because it had begun to spit and crackle about the time I plugged in the new phones. So now the phone interferes with the monitors and the monitors interfere with the phone. The microwave seems to be winning as it remains unaffected, although it scrambles the phone and the monitors. It never crossed my mind to check this issue, because (as I now know) my old phone ran on 3.2 GHz and so there was no problem. I have managed to reduce some of the interference by moving the primary phone base to a room on the other end of the house, but there is still some very irritating static when the handsets are used near the other monitors or microwave. It drives me absolutely bonkers.
